The Houston Women's Group, a feminist group for all women, (each woman defines her own feminism), that meets every Sunday at 10:30a.m. in Room 201, 2nd floor of the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 5200 Fannin, at Southmore (elevator accessible).
We have discussion, announcements and then speakers on every subject.

- Leah Lax, librettist of the nationally acclaimed opera, "The Refugee," answering questions about her inspirational life and work.
- Laura Oren, Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for Children, Law and Policy at the University of Houston Law Center discussing the lasting impact of Brown v. Board of Education and the debate in the Supreme Court about race-conscious admissions policies for schools.
